Kande’s Homestay has teamed up with the English run ‘North
Star Adventure Lodge’ in Norikura for an English Homestay
Adventure in Japan.
Enjoy all the benefits of English Immersion (within Japan)
at a fraction of the cost. Kande’s Homestay teams up
with North Star Adventure Lodge, to provide a unique Homestay
opportunity for children (within Japan). Featuring and experiencing
English in the context of an educational and environmental
adventure. Utilizing proven adventure education techniques,
your child will learn the English language in a way that will
have lasting impressions.
The program:
* blends instructional times with outdoor activities
* presents etiquette lessons
* teaches image and body language
* teaches life skills for personal development
* mixes fluent English speakers with beginners
* lunch / breakfast / supper

Instructors: A blend of North Star Professional Staff and Mr. and Mrs. Sheppard
and family. (Mrs. Sheppard’s fluency in Japanese will assist ‘beginner
English’ participants)
The price does not include transportation or personal spending money. There is
a 1500 yen charge for those needing pickup at Matsumoto Train or Bus Station.
Parents are welcome to drop their children off and attend the final celebration
and ceremony.
